The Mastering Dyslexia course was a perfect introduction to the new technologies to support students with dyslexia. Jamie was supportive and encouraging throughout, and really helped my daughter understand the value of different technologies and helped to built it into her learning. The course being ran by someone who shares the dyslexia experience makes a huge difference and is so important - Jamie built a sense of community and connection, expressed a sense of genuine empathy, his advice and experience was so much more meaningful for my daughter because of this. Thank you, Jamie, for the work you do to support children with dyslexia.

Jamie was well organised and sent instructions in advance ready for each session. Please do spend the time getting prepared just to download the apps or programmes in advance. My son’s laptop hadn’t been used in a while so it did a load of updates. My son had a laptop and phone, which worked well. Jamie was great at making the children feel comfortable, whilst at the same time showing what resources and apps can help with learning. By giving mini tasks the children were able to try the solutions first hand. Technology really can assist if used correctly. Picked up some tips myself too lol! I asked my son if he thought it was worth doing the course and he said yes. Well done Jamie!

Jamie was an amazing role model for my son. He needed to see someone older than him but happy, and smashing learning. The tools and technology we learnt in the workshops have been so helpful and have been a real confidence boost. Going into Year 7, left us a bit panicky that we might not be able to keep up with homework and his dyslexia might mean he struggled. We have now got a few more tools to help get things done and not take all evening. Good to learn as an adult as well, I am using some of the apps at work.

What a thoroughly worthwhile course. It has completely changed homework & revision time in our house. Sophia is using all the tools that Jamie shared independently, and I'm sure her confidence is going to grow as a result. For me I just cannot express my thanks enough for putting this together, it's the first time I felt able to adequately support with Sophia's struggles. This is something that is definitely missing in the education system. Thank you also Jamie for your patience with my lack of technical skills

I first found out about it through Instagram and saw your story, and I was instantly intrigued. I’m always looking for good uses of AI or tools to help support Raphie, and we’ve been putting a lot of time into finding what works and what technology he can use to support his learning. He’s struggled, and engagement with school has been very hard throughout his education. Even with access to professionals and the SENCO, it took us a long time to realise we needed to step in and do more. He wasn’t causing problems in school, but he was still at the bottom of achievement, and we knew we needed to find things that were really going to work for him. Hearing your story was important. Here’s someone who has been successful but has struggled in similar ways with dyslexia. Raphie has ADHD and autism as well, so his self-esteem is low, and he gets overwhelmed easily. Hearing your story gave me a real example I could show him — someone with similar conditions who has overcome challenges and is now at university studying demanding subjects. That’s why accessing the course made so much sense. By learning the tools and processes you’ve gone through, it shortcuts the whole journey for me. I can take what Jamie has learned, what actually works, and then tailor it to empower Raphie to have similar success.

Our 10 yr old son has diagnosed dyslexia and ADHD. After ongoing struggles both at home and at school, I came across Jamie’s post explaining how he could offer help with his learning needs… Jamie is a very kind, friendly and caring individual who put me at ease after our first introductory conversation. His unwavering support towards my son was carried out throughout our 3 x one to one sessions on various ways of helping him through technology and apps that I hadn’t come across before. The workshops were very well organised and engaging for my son who has learnt a great deal from them. I’m really glad I found Jamie and the confidence he has instilled in my child to help him navigate and organise his work better. Thanks Jamie.

My 12 year old son recently completed the course, and I couldn’t recommend more. It’s going to be a game-changer. I did wonder if he’d be a little young but the course was pitched perfectly to all ages - both my son and I learned a lot. The speech-to-text tools and flashcard strategies have made homework over the last couple of weeks so much more accessible and far less stressful — he’s already using speech-to-text confidently and independently most days. What truly sets this course apart is Jamie Briggs. The success he has achieved really is inspiring - plus he’s way cooler than most teachers 😎. Jamie understands the challenges first-hand and teaches with empathy, encouragement, and real-world expertise. He proved to my son that it is possible to thrive with dyslexia, and to turn challenges into strengths. I highly recommend this course to any parent looking for practical support and genuine understanding.

Thank you Jamie . We both really enjoyed the course and found it so helpful. You introduced each technology well and the exercises really helped Jack fully understand how he could use the technology to support his school work and homework. Since the sessions, he has been using all the techniques and technology to help with his homework. The speechify had been such a revelation as Jack reads well however the speechify really helps him fully engage with and understand texts that he has to read rather than wants to read. He’s looking forward to doing his writing homework for once and even said that he thinks he would like to be a writer when he’s older! A real turn around from a child who doesn’t enjoy writing ! Thank you so much for the carefully planned sessions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The classes are amazing! I really love them — they’ve helped me so much with reading, writing, and studying. Jamie is brilliant — he’s young, easy to understand, and makes everything interesting and fun. The lessons are easy to follow and have really made a difference for me.

Jamie was absolutely brilliant with my 13 year old daughter who is severely dyslexic. He's shown her ways to access learning which before would have been a massive barrier to her. He's really helped us open our eyes to what can be achieved with simple but effective tools that can be used in school as well as home. Jamie provided us with a brilliant new toolbox of apps and technology to help our son overcome some of the challenges his dyslexia presents when studying. He was patient, his course was well written and presented, concise and very insightful. Booked my son on this course to support his GCSE work. Course contained content that is not taught by school SENCO’s for accessibility. Programs selected are better than the primitive programs used in school like google docs, kami and google slides. Program delivered in an orderly manner and material provided to practice on during lesson at home. Cost of course extremely reasonable.

We decided to go ahead with this course because our eldest is severely dyslexic, only diagnosed at the end of Year 6, and was behind his peers and fast approaching GCSE. His school had said that they would be able to arrange for him to use assisted technology to help with his GCSE exams but were being incredibly slow off the mark with showing him how to best utilise programmes, apps and devices by the end of Year 10. Our son took this course during the Summer before Year 11 and found it incredibly informative and really quite enjoyable. Each lesson wasn't too long which is another tick in our book as we are 99% our son is also ADHD (although not yet diagnosed) and does struggle with concentration over long periods. According to our son, Jamie was much more friendly and approachable than most schooling situations he has found himself in.

Jamie course popped up on my Facebook feed and after looking into it I thought this looks good and could be really suitable for my 12 year old daughter. I requested more information and Jamie actually called and spoke to me about her needs. My daughter had a speech delay and combined with missing school with COVID she is behind her peers. She already has a tutor who’s amazing but completing her first year at secondary school it brings another level of learning. She had a diagnosis of dyslexia in primary(this was done privately) even with this schools just don’t understand. As a parent you really just want the best and to make life as easy as possible for her. Jamie sent all the information ready for the first session and we both joined the first session. After I few technical issue on my part( I’m not the best with computers) Jamie was so patient with me to get app to work. The apps/software Jamie discussed and used for the course will be so useful for both my daughter and myself- I was diagnosed dyslexia in university and this course has also helped me and will continue to help me in my current job. She will be back at school in two weeks and can’t wait to update Jamie on her progress moving forward this term. Thank you Jackie and Annalise

Jamie was fantastic! My not-so-little boy is severely dyslexic, ADHD and ASD and has been hating school. The transition to secondary school was incredibly daunting for both of us. But now, I feel confident that he has the tools he needs to show what he’s truly capable of, something that hasn’t been possible before. It was also amazing for him to meet someone outside of the family, someone closer in age like him, who has faced similar struggles and is now at university. I think it’s given him real hope. When he didn't think there was any point trying anymore. He had tried software before, but it was clunky and frustrating. This isn't. Thank you, Jamie!

Jamie was excellent! Very engaging, patient and clear instructions during the course... My daughter was more engaged during these sessions and responded well to your ways of teaching. She really enjoyed the topics covered and is now excited and confident to use the apps/information shared during your course. Definitely recommend this course as it was a real eye opener for Aoibheann and myself to discover what is out there to assist those struggling with dyslexia.

Thank you for your Mastering Dyslexia online course... Jamie was friendly and engaging, and it was helpful to hear Jamie and his Dad share their own dyslexia journeys. The online tools and apps were freely available and could be used on different platforms. Workshop numbers were limited to 6 participants, which made it easy to receive 1 to 1 support in a small group.

I would like to share our experience with Jamie's Dyslexia sessions. My daughter and I found these sessions to be incredibly insightful and beneficial. Jamie provided us with a fantastic toolkit designed to help my daughter thrive in school while effectively managing stress and anxiety... I highly recommend Jamie's program to anyone looking to support their child with dyslexia! It truly equips them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Thanks, Jamie - we found the course really helpful and also inspiring... The text-to-speech and summarising text were definitely the most useful for understanding how best to process information. It is tools I would now use myself as well. Jamie is really personable and fun, making the course enjoyable for all ages. He has a real passion for what he does, and I would highly recommend him. My 13-year-old daughter and myself just took part in an online course run by Jamie Briggs... Jeannie has implemented all of the things that Jamie has taught her and is already finding school life more manageable. Chat GPT is an absolute game-changer. I highly recommend Jamie to any children who are either dyslexic or maybe just have trouble understanding large documents used in school or in life.

I found Jamie’s video on a Sunday morning scrolling on Instagram. I sent a message asking what the course involved and was met by a message back and a lengthy phone conversation later in the week. Jamie was very knowledgeable and understood the challenges dyslexic learners face first hand... If you are reading this wondering do I sign my child up to Jamie’s course YES you should. Even if your child is exposed to one thing that will help and support them inside and outside of school then YES sign them up!

I would highly recommend Jamie’s course for anyone struggling with dyslexia. His patience, expertise and personalised approach have already made a difference to my son’s learning approach and confidence.

My son is buzzing! He’s loved working with Jamie and what a boost to his confidence 😊 He started to use the skills Jamie gave him straight away - even in an after school club the night of lesson one. He attends a drama club which he loves, but because of his dyslexia, he found reading the scripts stressful in front of a class , he used the technology Jamie facilitated for him to make it instantly more accessible, my son is delighted… and so am I!
